Katie Roberts

Katie Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Katie is currently working at NearForm as the Head of Engineering and Technical Director. Prior to this, they worked at the BBC, where they held various positions including Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Team Lead, and Software Engineer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Wunderman as a Senior Interactive Developer, and at Young & Rubicam Brands as a Tech Lead. Katie started their career at Playjam as a Liberate Developer.

Katie Roberts obtained a BSc degree in Psychology from Dundee University between 1991 and 1994. Katie further pursued their education at Middlesex University from 2003 to 2004, completing an MA in Design for Interactive Media with a focus on Programming design. Additionally, in April 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
