Allen Courtney

Allen Courtney is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in software engineering and education. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Nearmap since May 2019, Allen previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at CISRA from May 2004 to April 2019. Allen's career also includes roles as a Teacher at the Australian Institute of Music from 2002 to 2004 and as a Tutor at the University of New South Wales from 1996 to 2000. Allen holds a Postgraduate Research degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of New South Wales, obtained between 1996 and 2000, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Sydney, completed from 1992 to 1996.
