Mariano Miranda

Mariano Miranda is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in leadership and strategic initiatives. As the Founder and Director of BUO since September 2020, Mariano is focused on creating a certification system for learning and skills based on work experience. Additionally, Mariano serves as a Board Member at RIVET, promoting youth-led social movements, and contributes as a Guest Columnist at Nearshore Americas, emphasizing employment issues in Latin America. Previously, Mariano held significant roles, including Fellow in Residence for Latin America at Peace First, where efforts were made to launch initiatives across the region, and Director at EDaway, which supports international education processes. Experience also includes internship roles at OECD and Yale University, where Mariano contributed to various financial and sustainability projects. Mariano holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.
