Detlef Wormstall

Detlef Wormstall is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in operations, project management, and military systems development. Currently serving as the Head of Global Operations at Nearthlab since May 2021, Wormstall focuses on integrating autonomous UAV/UAS technologies in renewable energy and related sectors. As the Founder and CEO of SkyPros since June 2015, Wormstall leads initiatives in military project management, drone technology integration, and industrial inspections on a global scale. Previous roles include Manager of Operations at Robur Group, where Wormstall managed renewable energy projects, and Founder and CEO of AirCam Systems, specializing in drone deployment and sensor data gathering. Additionally, Wormstall gained foundational experience as an F-4 Phantom II pilot with the German Department of Defence from June 1989 to June 2006.
