Sean Galvin

Sean Galvin currently serves as Senior Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer at Nearwater Capital, a position held since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Virtu Financial, where Sean held the titles of Senior Strategic Finance Officer and Chief Financial Officer from August 2020 to April 2025. Sean also served as Chief Accounting Officer at BGC Partners from January 2018 to August 2020, and held the same title at KCG Holdings, Inc. from January 2000 to January 2018, where an interim CFO role was performed from September 2014 to December 2014. Sean Galvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from Queens College and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
