Tingbin Tang's work experience includes serving as a Senior UX Designer at Neato Robotics since 2022. In this role, Tingbin collaborates with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, define design goals, and lead the direction of the user experience. Prior to Neato Robotics, Tingbin worked as the Dean and Professor at Pearl Academy in 2021, responsible for maintaining academic systems, processes, and quality. In 2019, Tingbin was the CEO and Co-founder of Nearal, a location-based professional social networking app. Before that, Tingbin worked as a Principal UX Design Contractor at Coupang in 2018, where they conducted user research and redesigned various features of the Coupang app. In 2015, Tingbin founded Gopackup, a blockchain-based P2P travel booking platform, where they developed an Ethereum travel booking smart contract. Additionally, Tingbin served as the Chief Creative Officer at iHealth Lab from 2013 to 2015, focusing on user-centered product innovation for healthcare management devices. They also worked as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University during this time, teaching interaction design, user experience, and human factors. Prior to that, Tingbin founded Peopeo Humanized Digital Technology, a design consultancy firm that provided innovative product and solution design services to clients. They also worked as the COO and later CEO of Qifang.cn, the first P2P online lending platform in China. Tingbin started their career as a Lecturer and Director at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where they taught various design disciplines.
Tingbin Tang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from Hunan University between 1995 and 1999. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2002, Tingbin Tang pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
