UX Designer II at Pushpay

Melanie Owubokiri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melanie is currently working as a UX Designer at Pushpay, a position they started in June 2022. Prior to this, they owned their own business called Iconic Flame from April 2019, where they served as the owner. Furthermore, Melanie worked as a Web and Graphic Designer at IPFX from July 2021 to June 2022.

Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a Center Manager at Kennards Self Storage from September 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they successfully managed a center with over 900 customers, providing high-quality products and services. Melanie also worked as an Assistant Manager at Kennards Self Storage from December 2016 to September 2018.

Melanie's earlier work experience includes a Sales Assistant role at THE BED FACTORY STORES LIMITED from May 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they consistently achieved high sales while working with a diverse range of customers. Additionally, they held an Assistant Manager position at Paul Dress from September 2013 to September 2014.

Melanie Owubokiri began their education in 2013 when they earned a Diploma in Business Technology with a focus on Design - Major in Fashion from Universidade Salvador. In 2015, they attended ICL Graduate Business School and obtained a Diploma in International Business Innovation.

In 2020, Melanie enrolled at Yoobee College of Creative Innovation to pursue a degree in Web and Graphic Design, which they completed in 2021. Melanie furthered their education by obtaining a Diploma in Web and UX Design from Yoobee College of Creative Innovation in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Melanie has also earned several certifications. Melanie obtained a UX Design Micro-Credential from Yoobee Colleges in September 2021. In July 2021, they completed the "Web Design Completo" course from Origamid. Melanie also completed a Digital Marketing course at Yoobee Colleges in December 2020.

Melanie's commitment to professional development is evident through their recent certifications. In September 2022, they obtained a certification in "Creativity: Methods to Design Better Products and Services" from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). Additionally, in October 2022, Melanie completed the "Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman" and "Gamification - How to Create Engaging User Experiences" courses, also from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF).
