Gbenga Salami

Gbenga Salami has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gbenga started their career as a Financial Secretary at N.Y.S.C. Kalgo Local Government, where they managed budgets and resources. Gbenga then worked as a Photo Journalist at CITILINK NEWSPAPER, covering and reporting on company activities. Gbenga later joined PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, serving as an Area Sales Supervisor and Regional Centre Commercial Manager, where they achieved sales targets and developed business opportunities. Gbenga also worked as a Senior Area Sales Manager at Fareast Mercantile Co. Ltd., delivering sales targets and implementing key account management. Gbenga has experience in the technology industry as well, having worked as a Regional Manager at Samsung Electronics West Africa Ltd and as a Country Sales Manager at INDEX MOBILE LIMITED-GHANA. Gbenga also served as a Cryptocurrency and Digital Marketing Consultant, advising companies in the blockchain and Ethereum space. Gbenga's recent roles include being an Advisory Board Member at SVPER, the first mobile application that rewards users for meeting new people, and serving as the Head of Africa Retail Business at nebeus.com, a crypto bank. Gbenga is currently the CMO at Cryptopreneur.

Gbenga Salami completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University from 1999 to 2002. Gbenga then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Bayero University, Kano from 2008 to 2010. In the same year, they also obtained an additional Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the London School of Business and Finance. Gbenga Salami obtained the certification for "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Skills For Africa in March 2019.
