Mitch Florea

Mitch Florea, CPCU, CLU, currently serves as Senior Vice President at the Nebraska Bankers Association since May 2021. Previously, Mitch was Vice President of Marketing at Nebraska Bankers Insurance and Services Company, where responsibilities included promoting property/casualty insurance to NBA member banks and overseeing the Agency Services division. From June 2012 to March 2019, Mitch held the position of District Sales Manager at Iowa Mutual Insurance Group, managing sales territories and agency relationships. Earlier experience includes roles at State Farm Insurance, including Workers Compensation Underwriting/Audit Team Manager and Field Loss Control, where Mitch focused on underwriting, agency partnerships, and loss control. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, earned between 1994 and 1998.
