James E. Davis

James E. Davis is an experienced telecommunications professional with a strong background in VoIP and SIP technology. Currently serving as the Lead Voice Engineer at Nebraska Medicine since January 2018, James is responsible for designing and implementing next-generation telecommunications networks. Prior to this role, James worked as a VoIP Telecommunication Engineer at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where technical leadership and expertise in telecommunications were key responsibilities. James began a career at Avaya, providing extensive support for telecommunications systems and serving as a Backbone Engineer and System Application Specialist. Earlier experience includes co-owning Light Wave Computers and working as an Assistant Manager at Mann Theatres, showcasing a diverse skill set in both technology and operations.
