Sawita Kamat

Sawita Kamat has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sawita served as the Head of Resource Planning at RaveTechnologies from June 2007, and also held this role earlier in the same year. Prior to that, they were the VP of Software Services at Paradyne Infotech Ltd from February 2006 to April 2007. Sawita began their career as a Consultant at SEI Information Technology in 1997, where they worked until 1998.

Sawita Kamat has a strong educational background in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. Sawita began their education at Fergusson College from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. From there, they pursued further studies at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1977 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE). Sawita then continued their education at Brown University from 1980 to 1982, specializing in Electrical Engineering and obtaining a Master of Science (ScM) degree. Finally, they attended Purdue University from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a concentration in Computer Science.
