Atsushi Iwata

Atsushi Iwata has a extensive work experience, primarily at NEC Corporation. Atsushi started their career at NEC Corporation in 2004 as a Senior Manager and later became a Deputy General Manager in 2011. In 2014, they joined NEC Corporation of America as a Director. In 2017, they returned to NEC Corporation as a Deputy General Manager and then was promoted to Vice President later that year.

Atsushi Iwata holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tokyo, which they obtained between 1984 and 1990. Atsushi also had a visiting scholarship in Computer Science at UCLA from 1996 to 1997. Additionally, they received an IEICE Fellowship from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers in 2018.
