Marcelo A. Castro Iglesias

Marcelo A. Castro Iglesias is a seasoned Technology Officer with extensive experience in the LATAM Region, currently serving as the Regional Product Solutions & Software Development Manager at NEC Corporation since June 2008. Marcelo plays a crucial role in the Product & Solutions Development Department within the DGDF Business Unit for Smart Cities. In academia, Marcelo holds professorial positions at Universidad del Norte 'Santo Tomás de Aquino' and Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, teaching courses in Artificial Intelligence, Systems Theory, and Systemic Thinking, among others, while also acting as a thesis director and member of digital accessibility research groups.
