Mike van Gerven

Mike van Gerven is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Currently serving as General Manager of the Procurement and SCM Strategy Division for NEC Corporation in Europe and RuMeA since January 2014, Mike is an Executive Member of the NEC Global Purchasing Board. Previous roles include General Manager of Procurement and Logistics EMEA and Head of Procurement EMEA at NEC, as well as significant positions at African Minerals and Nokia, where management of substantial budgets and supplier bases was a focus. Mike's earlier career also included key operational roles at HCL Technologies, BT, Gateway, and Dell, showcasing expertise in multinational operations, service delivery, and strategic supplier relationships. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and completed a leadership program at The Wharton School.
