Komal Ahmad


Komal Ahmad is an advisor at Necessary Ventures. Komal was previously a SMB Account Technology Strategist at Google from January 2014 to December 2015. Komal has also served as a board member for the Oakland Food Policy Council from May 2011 to May 2012. In addition, they were the founder and CEO of Feeding Forward from January 2011 to December 2015. Komal also served as a midshipman in the US Navy from January 2008 to December 2012.

Komal Ahmad attended the University of California, Berkeley where they studied International Health and Global Development as well as Global Poverty & Practice. Komal was also a Salutatorian at Palo Verde High School. After completing their undergraduate studies, Komal went on to work at Copia where they helped launch GoCopia.com.
