Tess Pawlisch

Tess Pawlisch is the Founder and CEO of Needle, a communications agency focused on inspiring action and improving access to resources for individuals to lead healthier lives, starting in September 2023. Additionally, Tess serves as an Advisor for Necessary Ventures, which invests in deep technology companies addressing significant global challenges in climate, health, finance, and education. Previously, Tess held positions including Director of Business Development and Managing Associate at The Key PR, and Lead Writer & Consultant at Run the World Digital, where award-winning content was created for fundraising and communications. Additional experience includes roles at Ditto PR, Run the World Digital, The Progressive Magazine, and various organizations dedicated to labor and political finance, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and participation in an International Politics cohort at The George Washington University's Elizabeth Somers Women's Leadership Program.
