Rafael Fonseca

Rafael Fonseca is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic advisory, product management, and business development within various technology sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at the Foundation for Business Equity since October 2021, Rafael actively supports Black and LatinX entrepreneurs. As a Business Strategy Mentor and Leadership Advisory Board Member at Entrepreneurship for All since November 2014, Rafael guides start-up teams in developing their business concepts and strategies. Rafael also provides strategic consulting through GALERA GROUP, focusing on go-to-market strategies and business development for start-ups and communications service providers. Previously, Rafael held senior roles at Artel Video Systems, American Science and Engineering, Inc., Genband, Cedar Point Communications, Alcatel-Lucent, and Bell Laboratories, with a robust record of product innovation, market introduction, and leadership in technology development. Rafael holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico, along with a Mini-MBA certificate from The Wharton School.
