Waleed Anwar

Waleed Anwar has an extensive background in education and engineering, currently serving as an IGCSE Physics and Mathematics teacher at Roots Millennium Schools since August 2017. In addition to this role, Waleed is a Student Ambassador for THE SWITCH ENERGY PROJECT, engaging with energy awareness initiatives since April 2013. Active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers since August 2012, Waleed holds the position of President of the SPE NED Student Chapter and has previously contributed as a Fund Raising Officer. Waleed is also a student at NED University of Engineering & Technology, where involvement includes serving as President of the Student Nuclear Society Committee. Prior experience includes a short internship as a Reservoir Engineer at Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and technical support roles at the Revival of Islamic Heritage Society. Waleed holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from NED University, complemented by A-levels and IGCSE qualifications from international schools in Kuwait.
