Maarten van Cauwenberghe

Maarten Van Cauwenberghe has had an extensive career in various leadership roles, primarily focused in the META (Middle East, Turkey, and Africa) region. Maarten started their career as a Legal Counsel at Jan De Nul Group, where they handled contract risk analysis and negotiations. Maarten then moved on to Barco, where they served as a Regional Manager in the MEA region, overseeing various verticals such as broadcast, telecom, defense, security, oil, and gas, and transportation.

After that, Maarten joined OTN Systems NV, a Belden Brand, as a Regional Director for the MEA region. In this role, they were responsible for the company's offices in the Middle East and Africa until the acquisition of OTN Systems by Belden in 2021.

Following the acquisition, Maarten transitioned to Belden Inc., where they held the position of Director Solutions META & General Manager META. Maarten developed and executed a strategic plan that resulted in a significant increase in turnover and implemented various initiatives to enhance the company's sales and marketing go-to-market strategy. Maarten Van Cauwenberghe has a diverse education history. Maarten obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from Université de Namur in 1999. Maarten then pursued a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven, which they completed in 2002. In 2001, Maarten also attended Queen Mary University of London to earn another Master's degree in Law.
