Gary Marais

Gary Marais has extensive experience in the banking industry, currently serving as the Divisional Executive for Transactional Services Sales at Nedbank since September 2001, where leadership of 59 employees in the Domestic Sales and Sales Support teams is a key responsibility. Previously, Gary held various roles at Nedbank, including Head of Financial Institution Clearing and Reconciliation Services and Business Unit Manager for Vostro Administration. In addition to banking experience, Gary operated a small business providing IT solutions to the legal sector from 1997 to 1999. Gary's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce honors degree from Rand Afrikaans University and participation in several management development programs at notable institutions including Duke University and The Gordon Institute of Business Science. Recognized for exceptional performance, Gary was awarded the top corporate achiever in 2003.
