Ben Schoen

Ben Schoen is an experienced software developer with a career spanning over two decades in the IT industry. Currently serving as a Software Developer at NS since June 2020, Ben previously worked at Itris BV as a Java Developer from March 2011 to May 2020, and as a Consultant and Report/Java Developer at Odysseus from January 2000 to March 2011, specializing in creating reports and interfaces for IT Project and Portfolio Management software. Earlier experience includes a consultancy role at ABT Corporation from August 1997 to December 1999, contributing to the development of Project Management software known as Project Managers Workbench. Ben holds a Master of Science degree in Informatica with a focus on Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool (2015-2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics & Logistics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (1993-1997). Technical expertise includes proficiency in Clarity, Actuate, Crystal Reports Business Objects, Oracle, XML, XOG, SQL Server, and Java.
