Samir El Abdouni

Samir El Abdouni is a PharmD/PhD candidate currently working at Erasmus MC since May 2021, contributing as an Apotheker-onderzoeker. Concurrently, Samir serves on the Core Team for Medication Transfer at "samen voor medicatieoverdracht" and as a member of the Care-ICT Commission for the Nederlandse Vereniging van Ziekenhuisapothekers (NVZA). Involved with the Royal Dutch Pharmacists Association (KNMP), Samir participates in the Double Medication Working Group. Prior experience includes a Project Apotheker/ANIOS role at ZGT and research positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the University of Groningen, focusing on oncology and drug design. Samir holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Groningen, completed in 2019 and 2015, respectively.
