Matthew K. Jones

Matthew K. Jones, P.E. is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in both forensic and structural engineering. Currently serving as a Forensic Engineer at Nederveld, Inc. since September 2025, Jones previously held the position of Structural Engineer at Primus Builders, Inc. from February 2014 to August 2025. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of South Carolina, as well as an Associate of Science in Construction Project Management from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, a Research Assistant at Université catholique de Louvain, and a Project Manager at Kelpro Fire and Water Restoration, among others.
