Quaniet Richards

Quaniet Richards has extensive experience in the investment industry. Quaniet began their career at BoE Private Clients, where they held roles as a Credit Manager and later as the Head of Global Investment Strategy. In 2005, they joined Investec Asset Management as the Marketing Director, where they worked for almost a decade. Following that, Richards served as the Chief Client Officer at Momentum Asset Management for a brief period. In 2015, they joined Sanlam Investments as the Head of Investments for their retail sector. Currently, Richards works at Nedgroup Investments, where they have held various roles including Head of Institutional Business and Head of Cash and Institutional Business.

Quaniet Richards received a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of the Western Cape in 1996. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, Quaniet attended the University of the Western Cape and earned another Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting and Economics. Quaniet further pursued studies at the University of Cape Town from 1999 to 2000, completing a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honors degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management. In 1988, Quaniet attended Trafalgar High School, and from 1985 to 1987, Quaniet studied at Alexander Sinton Senior Secondary School. Additionally, in 2007, Quaniet briefly attended Harvard Business School, pursuing a PLD4 degree.
