Richard Williams

Richard Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Richard began their career in 1990 with Old Mutual Unit Trust, where they served as a Section Head for Financial and Accounting Control for almost a decade. In 1999, they joined Velocity Asset Management as an Assistant Finance and Operations Manager before moving to African Harvest in 2000, where they assumed the role of Assistant Finance and Operations Manager. In 2003, Richard joined Nedgroup Investments as a Fund Accountant and gradually progressed to become the MIS Manager, Head of Finance and Business Intelligence, and currently holds the position of CFO. Their extensive experience in finance and operations management positions him as a valuable asset to any organization.

Richard Williams completed their Bachelor of Accounting Science degree at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2006 to 2012. In 2005, they obtained a Diploma in Management Accounting and Finance from Varsity College. In 2004, they attended the Foundational Management Program at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Richard also completed their secondary education at Cedar Senior Secondary from 1985 to 1989, obtaining a Matric qualification. In 2021, they obtained the Section4 Certified Data & Analytics certification from Section4.
