James White

James White is the EVP and CAO of Needham Bank. James has over 17 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on credit and debit card services, claims and collections.

White began their career at Santander in January 2000, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become Senior Vice President, Director of US Debit/Credit Card, Claims and Collections Services. In this role, White was responsible for leading a cross-functional team of card product definition and parameterization processes, portfolio reporting and analysis, operations claims and loss management, and customer teams to deliver both short- and long-term strategic plans.

During their time at Santander, White successfully implemented strategic solutions by creating requirements documentation and shepherding projects from conception through completion. James also led the operational process management of a 2 million card portfolio, domestically and working with international groups. In addition, White increased card retention and portfolio management through new product introduction and activation campaigns with sales and service front channels.

In December 2017, White left Santander to join Needham Bank as EVP and CAO. In this role, they are responsible for the bank's overall operations, including financial management, risk management, human resources, information technology, and compliance.

White is a proven leader in the banking industry with a track record of success in implementing strategic solutions, increasing profitability, and managing complex regulatory/compliance functions. James is an invaluable asset to Needham Bank and is poised to continue driving the bank's success in the years to come.

James White has a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University and a BS in Finance and Management from Northeastern University.
