Brian Vieten, CFA, currently serves in equity research focused on the Crypto Asset and Blockchain sector at Needham & Company since August 2023, while also working as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson at Compass since June 2023. Prior to these roles, Brian operated a small crypto fund and engaged in macro research, emphasizing a long/short investment strategy that utilized technical and fundamental analysis. Brian's extensive experience in equity research began at Cowen Inc., where roles included Vice President and Associate, delivering proprietary research in the restaurant sector. Expertise also includes consulting for startups and supporting seasoned analysts in various financial institutions, with a strong academic foundation in Economics and Mathematics from Boston College.
