Sivakumar Govindan

Sivakumar Govindan has over two decades of experience in horticulture and agricultural management. Currently serving as Manager Horticulture at Needle Industries (India) Private Limited since November 2015, Sivakumar oversees landscape maintenance, floriculture, and organic vegetable production. Previously, as Sr. Horticulturist at Rakindo Kovai Hills Township Golf Course from March 2010 to October 2015, Sivakumar specialized in golf course maintenance and nursery production. Prior to that, as Project Manager at Mascons Agro Tech Limited from September 2000 to December 2009, Sivakumar led the production of cut flowers for export within a greenhouse automation setting. Sivakumar's career began at Greenett Plants and Flowers Pvt Ltd in Sri Lanka as a Junior Executive in plantation management from September 1998 to August 2000, focusing on ornamental cut-foliage crops. Sivakumar holds a Bachelor's degree from PSGCAS, completed between 1992 and 1995.
