Cody Hufstetler

Cody Hufstetler currently serves as an Environmental Manager at Neel-Schaffer, Inc. since July 2023, following a role as an Environmental Planner at Atkins from January 2021 to July 2023. In the latter position, Cody was embedded within the GDOT NEPA section, providing technical oversight and managing NEPA compliance for various projects while coordinating with FHWA. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Specialist at KEA Group, where Cody drafted NEPA documentation and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on resource impact mitigation. Earlier roles at the University of Georgia included Lab Manager and Undergraduate Researcher in the Pringle Freshwater Ecology Lab, focusing on freshwater ecology. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both earned from the University of Georgia's Odum School of Ecology and Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.
