Barry Cates Cfi

Barry Cates, CFI, has an extensive career in fire investigation, currently serving as a Fire Investigator at NEFCO Fire Investigations since 2013. At NEFCO, known as "The Origin & Cause Experts," Barry contributes to a team of nearly 100 certified professionals providing services across 30 states, specializing in areas such as arson investigation, automotive fire origin, and litigation support. Prior to joining NEFCO, Barry worked as a Fire Investigator for the Longview Fire Department from 1988 to 2012 and served as a Firefighter at both the Mount Pleasant Fire Department (1986-1988) and the Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department (1978-1986).
