Virginia Chapman

Virginia Chapman serves as the Chair of the City of Vancouver Civil Service Commission since January 2019 and as a Fire Analyst at NEFCO Fire Investigations since December 2021. Chapman holds various leadership roles within the Oregon IAAI Chapter 31, including 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Director, and has been the Community Service Chair for the Greater Clark County Rotary since April 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a Fire Investigator at Unified Investigations & Sciences and EFI Global from October 2015 to December 2021, as well as an Adjunct Instructor in Fire Science at Portland Community College from September 2014 to September 2017. Chapman's career in fire services began with the Vancouver Fire Department, where a tenure from October 2000 to October 2015 as Deputy Fire Marshal was established. Virginia Chapman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Oregon between 1986 and 1990.
