Enrique Díaz Hinojosa

Enrique Delatorre is a Quality Line Support Engineer at Abbott since July 2022, specializing in Quality Engineering support for manufacturing to ensure high-quality product delivery. Prior to this role, Enrique served as a Project Manager at UCI Samueli School of Engineering, focusing on the development of orthotics testing devices in collaboration with Ossur Americas. As a Research & Development Engineer, Enrique contributed to the redesign of the vaginal speculum for a startup project known as Feminora and also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher on developing a custom wheelchair headrest. Additionally, Enrique served as Safety Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach from January 2013 to July 2022. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine and multiple associate degrees from Irvine Valley College in Mathematics, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
