Nehemiah Vision Ministries
Nehemiah Vision Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization based in Kirklin, Indiana that serves the people of Chambrun, Haiti (15 miles east of the capital of Port-au-Prince). NVM serves the people of Haiti through economic, educational, agricultural, and medical care development. As a Christ-centered organization, NVM helps individuals become productive, provide for their families, and be proud to be Haitian. The mission is dependent on the concept of "handing up, not handing out," in which locals take ownership for health services, education, and housing rather than become dependent on donations. NVM focuses on the physical, social, spiritual, and economic health in order to empower individuals to become the future leaders of Haiti. By continuing this mission, NVM seeks to transform the nation from within and achieve spiritual renewal, economic growth, political stability, and integration with the rest of the world.
