Reid Benson

Reid Benson has a diverse work experience spanning various marketing roles and industries. Reid is currently serving as the VP of Marketing at Neighbor since February 2023. Prior to this role, Reid worked as an Advisor/Investor at Benson Consulting Co since November 2018. Reid also held the positions of Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Marketing at Outlier.org from November 2022 to January 2023 and from April 2020 to November 2022, respectively.

Reid's international experience includes a period of traveling to 21 countries from June 2019 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, Reid held the position of Head of Growth Marketing at MasterClass from March 2015 to November 2018. Reid played a key role in building the marketing function from the ground up and successfully led a team that drove significant member acquisition and brand growth.

Before MasterClass, Reid worked at Netflix as a Manager of Paid Social Marketing, where they built and led the North America paid social team and oversaw a substantial media budget. From December 2011 to September 2013, they held the position of Account Director & Team Lead at Nanigans. Reid contributed to the successful launch of their London office and managed a multimillion-dollar user acquisition spend on behalf of clients.

Reid started their career as an Account Manager at Common Sense NMS from October 2010 to December 2011. During this time, they managed digital marketing campaigns, conducted market research, and supervised website development projects.

Reid Benson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Northeastern University. In 2018, they pursued the Growth Series at Reforge, and in 2016, they completed a program in General Management at Harrison Metal.
