Amy M. Young

Amy M. Young has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Assistant Principal at Neighborhood Charter Schools since May 2019. Prior roles include Assistant Principal and Dean of Students at Success Academy Charter Schools from October 2012 to April 2019, and Manager of Family Engagement & Special Projects at Newark Educators' Community Charter School from June 2011 to June 2012. Amy also held the position of Special Assistant to the Executive Director at Akili Academy of New Orleans from August 2008 to August 2009. Educational qualifications include a BA in Psychology from Columbia University, completed between 2004 and 2010, along with studies at Xavier University of Louisiana from 2006 to 2007.
