Ruben Tejada

Ruben Tejada is a professional currently serving as the Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island since August 2015. With a strong background in DEI program development and management, Ruben has advanced through various roles within the organization, including DEI Business Partner and Program Administrator, focusing on NCQA accreditation, Medicaid program oversight, and population health management. Previous experience includes positions at North Providence Fire Department as a firefighter, at Professional Ambulance as an EMT Cardiac, and as an EMS Supervisor at Accu Tran Ambulance. Ruben holds an ongoing Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and has completed a Master of Arts in Community Development and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, all from Roger Williams University, along with an Associate of Arts from the Community College of Rhode Island.
