Sara's most recent role is at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, where they started in 2018 as the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility. Sara was responsible for the organization's message strategy, brand management, media relations, public affairs, internal communications, and social responsibility. In 2021, they were promoted to the Director of Customer Experience and Communications, further contributing to the organization's success.

Sara Brandon earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Advertising from Cazenovia College, where they attended from 1981 to 1983. Sara then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design at Western Connecticut State University from 1983 to 1985.
