Stephen Dest

Stephen Dest is a distinguished Professor of Film at the University of Connecticut, a position held since January 2014. In addition, Stephen serves as the Drama Department Head at Neighborhood Music School, a role undertaken since June 1999. With a career as a freelance writer and director dating back to 1990, Stephen has directed over 200 stage plays and musicals, showcasing a remarkable breadth of experience in both theatrical and cinematic arts.
