Kirsten Johnson-Obey

SVP, Public Policy & Legislative Affairs at NeighborWorks

Kirsten Johnson-Obey has been working in public policy and legislative affairs for over 20 years. Kirsten began their career as a legislative assistant/legislative director for Congressman Bruce F. Vento. Kirsten then became senior director of government relations at Freddie Mac, before joining Porterfield and Lowenthal LLC as executive vice president. In 2009, they joined NeighborWorks as SVP, public policy & legislative affairs.

Kirsten Johnson-Obey has a degree in political science from Hamline University and Kansai Gaidai University. Kirsten also has a certificate of completion in NeighborWorks America's Achieving Excellence program from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Kirsten Johnson-Obey reports to Rutledge Simmons, EVP & General Counsel/Corporate Secretary. They work with and Kate Titford - SVP, Deputy General Counsel.
