Brett Dirr

Brett Dirr started their work experience as an IT Intern at Progressive Insurance in 2006. Brett then progressed through various roles at the company, including Network Operations Analyst and IT Operations Analyst Sr, where they served as a Team Lead and Technician for a group of 25+. Brett was responsible for supporting and stabilizing multiple applications within the company. In 2011, they became a Senior IT Systems Engineer, where they engineered, designed, planned, and analyzed systems within a Multi-Platform department. Brett also acted as a liaison between multiple lines of business and monitored systems for availability, capacity, and demand management.

In 2014, Brett Dirr joined Walgreens as a Systems Engineer, specializing in designing and supporting the Walgreens EHR/EMR Application. Brett streamlined processes to improve response times and implemented a new SSL Certificate renewal process.

After three years at Walgreens, they joined bswift in 2015. Initially serving as a Sr Systems Engineer, they were later promoted to Manager - System Engineering and then Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations. In these roles, they managed and oversaw various IT projects and teams.

In 2021, Brett Dirr started working at Neighborly® as the VP of Infrastructure Technology, overseeing the development and implementation of infrastructure systems.

Brett Dirr completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems at Ohio University from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, Brett has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Brett also obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2020.
