Cedric McDougal

Cedric McDougal is the current CTO at NeighborSchools. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at InsightSquared from July 2011 to October 2016, during which time they oversaw the technical implementation of a UI redesign, led a push for better encapsulation and reusability of UI components, and ensured consistent coding best practices across the product code base. Cedric was also a part-time QA Associate at PowerAdvocate from July 2010 to April 2011, where they wrote automated integration tests in Java, built scripts to create data for manual tests, and created and maintained an extensive regression test plan. Additionally, Cedric has served as an Advisor at Scientific Financial Systems from October 2016 to July 2020, providing advice to the founder on matters concerning technical implementation, product development, and hiring. Cedric's other experience includes a role as Research Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2009 to December 2009 and Board Member at Digital Grandparents Inc.

Cedric McDougal has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
