Steve Butterworth

Steve Butterworth has held a variety of roles in the technology and business sectors since 1997. Steve began their career as a Business Development Manager at Eden Industries in 1997. In 1999, they became the Sales Manager at VoiceWrite Limited, where they established the company as a market leader in the UK legal sector. In 2002, they were appointed as President and CEO of BigHand Inc., where they led the international expansion of the business and managed offices in the US, Canada, and Australia. From 2012 onwards, they have served as an Investor and Non-Executive Director in various companies. In 2017, they were appointed as Senior Advisor at Synova Capital, and as Interim Chief Operating Officer at ObjectiveManager. Most recently, in 2018, they became the CEO of Neighbourly, a multi award-winning community investment and engagement platform.

Steve Butterworth attended the University of Bristol from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Geography. Prior to that, they attended St. Pauls School, London from 1987 to 1992.
