Hernán Fuertes Ceballos

Hern Kim has extensive experience as a medical device design consultant, with expertise in rapid product development for Class I/II/III medical devices. Hern has worked on various projects such as catheter delivery/control systems, dental devices, surgical robotics, imaging systems, and medical carts. From 2007 onwards, Hern worked at HERNETICS, LLC as a Medical Device Design Consultant. In 2014, they worked as a Medical Device Consultant for Corindus Vascular Robotics and TransMedics, Inc. In 2015, they joined PathMaker Neurosystems Inc. as a Medical Device Consultant and continued their role until 2020. From 2014 to 2021, Hern also worked as a Medical Device Consultant at NorthEast Monitoring Inc. and as a Medical Device Consultant at Cytrellis Biosystems, Inc. from 2017 to 2018. From 2016 to present, they have been serving as a Medical Device Consultant at Transmural Systems. In 2017, they also started working as a Medical Device Consultant at Johns Hopkins Medicine - Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery until 2021. Most recently, in 2020, Hern became the Chief Design Officer at EZ Scope, and in 2022, they joined Cision Vision as a Medical Device Consultant.

Hern Kim attended the Bronx High School of Science for an unknown period of time. Following high school, they enrolled in the College of Engineering at Boston University, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field. Lastly, Hern pursued a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, although the specific timeframe is not mentioned.
