Julianna McGovern, MBA.HMA, currently serves as a Business Operations Information Officer at NEIWPCC since August 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Project Manager at State Permits, Inc. from September 2021 to August 2023, focusing on commercial permitting across various disciplines. Julianna also worked as a Front Desk Administrator at Coppe + Sears Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics for a brief period in 2021, handling patient scheduling and account receivables. Additional roles include Guest Service Expert at Blondie’s Salon & Spa and Shift Lead/Key Holder at Plato's Closet. Julianna holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's degree in Movement Science with a focus on Sports Medicine from Westfield State University.
NEIWPCC
NEIWPCC [NŪ-Ē-PĬK] is a regional commission that helps the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality. We engage and convene water quality professionals and other interested parties from New England and New York to collaborate on water, wastewater, and environmental science challenges across shared regions, ecosystems, and areas of expertise. We develop, coordinate, and conduct training courses for wastewater and other water quality professionals regionally and nationwide. We conduct research into water-related topics, monitor environmental factors, and fund such work by others. We also implement and fund environmental restoration and other on-the-ground projects. We fund and/or staff programs that engage the public through events, exhibits, web and print publications, and other outreach activities. We actively represent the interests of member states at meetings with federal and state officials and in regional and national water and wastewater associations.
