Susan Pepe is an experienced professional in grants coordination and administration with a strong background in various organizations. Currently serving as the Information Officer and Grants Coordinator at NEIWPCC since June 2015, Susan has previously held the position of Senior Grant Administrator at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from April 2012 to June 2015 and worked as a Contract & Grant Specialist at the Research Foundation of SUNY from December 2004 to April 2012. Earlier in the career, Susan gained experience as a Media Account Coordinator/Analyst at Vertis Communications. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Social Policy with a concentration in environmental policy from SUNY Empire State College and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology from the University at Albany.

NEIWPCC
NEIWPCC [NŪ-Ē-PĬK] is a regional commission that helps the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality. We engage and convene water quality professionals and other interested parties from New England and New York to collaborate on water, wastewater, and environmental science challenges across shared regions, ecosystems, and areas of expertise. We develop, coordinate, and conduct training courses for wastewater and other water quality professionals regionally and nationwide. We conduct research into water-related topics, monitor environmental factors, and fund such work by others. We also implement and fund environmental restoration and other on-the-ground projects. We fund and/or staff programs that engage the public through events, exhibits, web and print publications, and other outreach activities. We actively represent the interests of member states at meetings with federal and state officials and in regional and national water and wastewater associations.
