Mitchell Blumenthal

Mitchell Blumenthal is currently a R&D Product Development Chemist at Nekoosa Coated Products. Prior to this, they were a Sr. Qualification Chemist at LANXESS Corporation from March 2018 to October 2019, where they were responsible for formulation and qualification of lubricants, fuels and lubricants for automotive and aerospace applications. From January 2017 to January 2018, they were a Senior R&D Process Chemist at Lamart Corporation, where they served as team lead for R&D and production as part of development efforts to sell tape products for biomedical application and separate graphics application for automotive industry. Mitchell was recognized as adhesives expert and collaborated with suppliers to identify new ways of making materials. Prior to that, they were Technical Solutions Chemist, Senior Project Leader – PSA Adhesives Division at Henkel from January 2008 to December 2015.

Mitchell Blumenthal received their Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Science from Penn State University. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Queens College.
