Alan Rapacki

Alan Rapacki has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Alan is currently working as a QA Engineer on a contract basis at Nektar Therapeutics, where they are responsible for developing and evaluating the Commercial Design History File for an aerosol drug delivery system. Additionally, they have previous experience as a QA Engineer at the same company.

Prior to their work at Nektar Therapeutics, Alan worked as a Mech/Mfg/Quality Engineer on a contract basis at Maquet Cardiovascular, where they were involved in the process development and validation for the commercial launch of an RF cauterizing device.

Alan has also worked as a Principal Designer on a contract basis at CIRTEC Medical Systems, where they designed and developed biomedical and biotechnology devices.

Before their contract roles, Alan was a Senior R&D Engineer at QLT-PD/Forsight Labs, where they played a key role in manufacturing implantable micro ocular drug delivery devices.

Alan has also worked as an R&D Engineer at Emphasys Medical and PinPoint Therapeutics/Pacific Surgical, and as a Technician at Heartport.

Alan's work experience demonstrates a strong background in quality assurance, process development, manufacturing, and research and development in the medical device industry.

Alan Rapacki received their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Life Sciences from City College of San Fransisco between the years 1987 and 1994. Alan later pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science - Pre Clinical Preperation at California State University - East Bay from 2009 to 2013, earning their degree in August 2013.
