Oriol Serra

Oriol Serra has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. Their most recent position is as the Cluster Manager at INDESCAT, a company they joined in October 2019. From 2012 to 2019, Oriol co-founded and held multiple positions at Nektria, a SaaS company focused on Last Mile solutions for eCommerce. Their roles at Nektria included Co-Founder & Shareholder, Managing Director, and Co-Founder & CMO & CAO & Business Development, where they were responsible for marketing strategies, social media management, administration & HR tasks, and business development.

Prior to their time at Nektria, Oriol worked as the Sports Manager and Coordinator of Sports Activities at Ajuntament de Cornellà de Llobregat from 2004 to 2014. Oriol managed sport programs for more than 20,000 citizens, designed and executed sports events such as running races, and oversaw various sports-related activities.

In 2013, Oriol also worked as the Sport & Technology Project Coordinator at Consell Esportiu del Baix Llobregat, where they were involved in implementing the Green Play methodology for school sport competitions. This project aimed to promote values and civic behavior in addition to winning games.

Additionally, Oriol has experience in entrepreneurship and start-ups. Oriol co-founded and worked as an entrepreneur at Bcn Sharing Projects from 2007 to 2011. Here, their responsibilities included developing sharing economy-based projects and managing communication, PR campaigns, partnerships, and events.

Oriol Serra completed their education at two different universities. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained a degree in Gesti&oacuten Deportiva (Sports Management) known as "Llicenciat en Ciències de l'Activitat F&iacutesica i l'Esport (CAFiE)". Following their time at the Universitat de Barcelona, Oriol Serra enrolled in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2004 to 2009. Here, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, completing their education in this field.
