Birgitte Nordvik

Birgitte Nordvik has over 24 years of work experience in the contract and procurement management field. Birgitte is currently the Vice President of Contract and Procurement Management at Nel Hydrogen since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Aker Energy AS as a Contract Manager from June 2018 to August 2020. From September 2014 to July 2018, they served as the Vice President of Global Procurement at Petroleum Geo-Services. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Strategic Supply Management at Aker Solutions from June 2012 to August 2014. From September 2010 to August 2012, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at BW Offshore. Birgitte also gained experience as the Vice President of Contracts & Procurement at Renewable Energy Corporation from February 2008 to August 2010. Birgitte'searlier roles include Contract & Procurement Manager at Norsk Hydro from 2001 to 2007 and Subsea Contract Manager at Statoil from 1996 to 2001.

Birgitte Nordvik earned a Master's degree from the University of Stavanger, where they specialized in Petroleum Economics, Project- and Contract Management. Birgitte attended the university from 1990 to 1994.
