Cato Hansen

Cato Hansen is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Nel Hydrogen since July 2023. Previously, Cato held the position of Project Manager at Wärtsilä Gas Solution from December 2019 to June 2023, overseeing LNG cargo handling systems and R&D projects funded by government initiatives. Prior to that, Cato worked at National Oilwell Varco for over a decade, managing significant projects within new product development and drilling fluid systems, with a notable portfolio exceeding USD 120 million. Cato's career spans roles from project engineering to leadership positions across various companies, supported by a Master of Management in Organization and Management, specializing in Project Management, obtained from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
